So a Chinese store on ebay has listed a loose Quinlan Vos, Anakin, Daultay Dofine, Sidious, Ben Quadrinarous, a battle droid and of course Maul amongst others, from the Vintage Collection Phantom Menace waves.

You have got to be losing the plot if you bid on these… f’real.

Maul is currently sitting at $46USD/AUD with a day to go! WTF?

Sure some other non Phantom menace bargains on thier store, but seriously apply the brakes, brain cells, and do not believe the hype. These figures are worth no more than $15 AUD/USD at a severe push.

Still, a fool and thier money are easily parted, and someone is gonna buy these. So if you just can’t wait, and want to pay nearly $50 for a frankly pretty okay Maul, have a view of thier auctions!

Thanks to the heaps of peeps who sent this in! I just saw this via Geekologie and it seems like everyone else is over this like a rash, and no wonder, this is pretty cool stuff, but I’ll let Brandon Peat, the artist say it best:

When my wife Emma and I found out we were pregnant with our first child, Tycho, we began thinking of fun ways to decorate a baby boy’s room. Since we live in an apartment and aren’t allowed to paint the walls, that meant posters or prints of some kind. And, being artists, we naturally wanted to create those prints ourselves. In the end, we decided to illustrate an alphabet of characters from one of our favorite franchises – Star Wars.

Selecting each letter was a lengthy process. The characters who made the cut are primarily from the Original Trilogy (no Prequel characters here!), with a few from the Expanded Universe of books, comics, and video games. We also tried to keep the illustrations as non-violent as possible (in the words of Wuher, “No blasters!”) for maximum kid-friendliness.

I sketched the basis for each character in pencil, which Emma then rendered and colored in Illustrator – it was very much a collaborative process. The project was her idea, even…man I love having a nerdy wife.

Club jade nab a mini sneak at a forthcoming episode of comic book favourite Jedi. Have to say he looks nothing like the rather skinny version of the Hasbro figure that’s also forthcoming. Here is an image taken from our high res gallery of Star Wars action figures.

I have to stop buying these as just so many already but they keep making really cool characters!

I’m still behind on the whole Quinlan thang, but interesting Hasbro accessory in the pack, a speederboard? Cool!

View full screen or change the video resolution to get some excellent (first available I have seen) detailed images of the Zombie geonosian, Quinlan Vos and others with all attachments/weapons etc.

Only problem is now we have to wait for these to be released : (

Ah well the Zombie Geonosian and Quinlan Vos looking good and so we’ll definetly be seeing Voa in new episodes of upcoming Clone Wars shows.
