Now Zahn’s ready to debut a book that fans have been dying to read: a heist novel starring Han, Chewie, and Lando Calrissian. EW can exclusively announce that Zahn’s latest yarn will be called Star Wars: Scoundrels and will hit bookstores on December 26, 2012, just in time for Boxing Day.
Some more photos have turned up at Galactic hunter as part of thier SDCC coverage, one is this very nice Luke, but check out the Lando Sand storm and more. Seems hasbro like to hold back and these were not shown in thier presentation!

The new Star Wars MIMOBOT Series 7 features a product offering based on many iconic characters from Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Leading off is Han Solo MIMOBOT with Carbonite carrying case, a keychain accessory that encases Han Solo in a sculpted plastic protective block re-imagining a new use for the famous frozen intergalactic smuggler. For the first time in MIMOBOT form is Lando Calrissian, Solo’s redeemed friend who aids in his rescue and pilots the Millennium Falcon helping to destroy the Death Star. Billy Dee Williams, famous for starring as Lando, will join Mimoco for an autograph session at the Star Wars Pavilion (#2913M) on Friday at 12:00pm – 1:30pm to promote the new series. Also joining in the fight against the Galactic Empire is Princess Leia MIMOBOT, disguised as the bounty hunter Boushh, ready to save the one she loves from the clutches of Jabba the Hutt. Lastly, the fan-favorite Boba Fett has been reissued in Return of the Jedi styling, updated with a new battle-scarred suit and more intimidating scowl. These new additions join previously announced SDCC exclusive Trandoshan bounty-hunter Bossk. Each Star Wars Series 7 MIMOBOT purchased at Comic-Con comes with a free poster.

Here’s the lowdown from the official site;
Star Wars Series #1 arrives at D-Street locations this coming weekend. We have planned two special launch parties for this new series. Before I get to those event details, I spoke with Disney Design Group Artist (and member of the local Jedi Council) Mike Sullivan who gave me an inside look at how this new series was created.“We began with several rough sketches of characters we wanted in the series,” explained Mike. “We selected characters from The Empire Strikes Back in honor of the film’s 30th anniversary. With so many memorable characters in the film, it was difficult to select just 12 figures. We worked closely with the great team at Lucasfilm to make the final choices for this first series.”
“This particular project was exciting and different for me since the characters had to be stylized so much to fit the Vinylmation form,” continued Mike. “I particularly like Boba Fett as he’s one of my favorite characters. I spent extra time making sure every detail on his figure was just right.”
