Star Wars at E3: First Real Video of ‘Kinect Star Wars’… Just me, or does this look a bit pants?

With possibly the most overdone trailer I have seen in a while, (Yes we get that you are seling us being in the game) the briefly seen in the past Kinect Star Wars venture looms closer…

Star Wars fans, prepare to connect with The Force in a kinectic way. On Monday, Microsoft Studios and LucasArts will formally announce the first Star Wars video game for Kinect, Microsoft’s hands-free, your-body-is-the-controller playing experience for the Xbox 360. Simply called Kinect Star Wars, the game is intended for all ages and will hit stores this winter. Microsoft will preview the game this at E3 (aka the Electronic Entertainment Expo), the video game industry’s annual confab at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Since they live in 1903 and have a non embeddable video you’ll have to visit thier site to check out the trailer for a peek at the game and the gameplay.

Look I’m whinging, but again Lucasfilm WTF is it with Entertainment Weekly Exclusives? Anyone?

Asked why she painted it:

This is my favorite Star Wars scene for several reasons. First of all, because of the memorable quote…”I love you… I know.” That is one of the single greatest romantic exchanges in all of cinema, in my book. But also, I love it because of the overall tension. It’s about the only time in any Star Wars movie that so many big players are in one location at the same time, but without any major confrontation going on. It was a good opportunity to have one image with Boba, Vader, Han, Leia, Chewie, and C-3PO all present. And finally, I love the set design and lighting. It’s a bit of a departure from the other locations in Star Wars, and it creates a really striking mood.
