'Don't get excited!' This isn't quite whit you thought…
An one savig grace is no dancing like a tit in front of the telly and making Irvin Kershner turn in his grave.
The app aggregates a user’s Facebook and Twitter social network feeds and turns them into the iconic Star Wars crawl that appears at the start of all of the films (the games, the cartoons, the ride, George Lucas’s bank statements, etc).
You can also post to either site, find out more information about the Xbox 360/Kinect game or even order a copy from within the application itself.
So that’s a giant relatively useless ad then…? Apparently in the Android Market/G Play store & iO/s App store today…

After the frankly silly launch of the Star Wars Blu Ray iPad only App (well for several weeks until iPhone) it’s nice after ignoring the entire Android Market we get soemthing first.
Especially when the damn platform is named after one of your trademearks : )
Still nice to see many now realising the huge growth of Android to become the #1 largest platform and this good fune release!
Look time for a rant here….
Seriously stop this ‘i’ crap. We are now refering to them as ‘iDevices’? Really?
iThink they are being incredibly iMyopic with this. Look before Apple faboys jump down my iThroat, I have an iPhone and Android, but iPad only for two weeks? And at that, region locked?
Um… way to go to really limit your audience dudes. Then again after the Blu ray web site crash annoucement this year which ended flatly, maybe the staggered aproach is what they need. Really though, get this on the web in an HTML 5 app like interface if you must. WIth Android having more devices than the iPossee it makes sense to even have at least dual platforms and support that too.
Just gutted to see my favourite films get a damp squib of a PR anncouncement this year with the countdown mess online, then horrific artwork and now an incredibly limited by region and $600 device release of an app we don’t really need and coudl have been on StarWars.com?

Expect a real version of this any day…
Impressive…but there is another.
I wantz a Fett Fone!
Now this is swish, and on an Android phone too! Screw iPhone Disneyfied iTunes paywall empire, led by the dark lord of the polo neck jobs. Android IS the Star Wars fans phone! Rebels unite!
