After the frankly silly launch of the Star Wars Blu Ray iPad only App (well for several weeks until iPhone) it’s nice after ignoring the entire Android Market we get soemthing first.
Especially when the damn platform is named after one of your trademearks : )
Still nice to see many now realising the huge growth of Android to become the #1 largest platform and this good fune release!
Late on this one I know, but man does that black burger look awful or what? Reminds me of Robot Chicken’s ‘burnt leathery bacon’ skit.
Kinda also like the remnants of Anakin with cheese added in between bits of his armour : P
An awesome piece of work by finfito, even including some dice in the cockpit!
Starting off in docking bay 94, you get a real close up of the piece of junk that has it where it counts.
Make sure you take a look through this and give they creator a subscription…

Yep another book! And those fine booky types at Club jade point out that the person in the vid is none other the Star Wars master of all things Gcannon aka Mr Holocron himself; Leland Chee - http://blogs.starwars.com/holocron/53
Tempting Mr Chee, tempting…

The movies 3D was made for, has finally been officially announced! Sadly it does mean Jar Jar in 3D, so get your drugs in stock to cope, but this means Hoth, Bespin, Death star, pod races, speeder bikes, all in 3D! A clever move by the marketing bods at Lucasfilm to tie in with the Blu Ray releases as well I expect. You can also bank on next year and 2012 to be an even more wallet crunching, Hasbro buying, Star Wars crazy year in the build up!
From the official site:
Lucasfilm Ltd. announced today that the live-action Star Wars Saga will be converted to 3D! There are few movies that lend themselves more perfectly to 3D; from the Death Star trench run to the Tatooine Podrace, the Star Wars Saga has always delivered an entertainment experience that is completely immersive. Presented by Twentieth Century Fox and Lucasfilm Ltd., the cutting edge conversion will take that immersion to the next thrilling level, with Industrial Light & Magic supervising the project. Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace is expected to be released theatrically in 2012. A release date has not yet been determined. “Getting good results on a stereo conversion is a matter of taking the time and getting it right,” said John Knoll, Visual Effects Supervisor for Industrial Light & Magic. “It takes a critical and artistic eye along with an incredible attention to detail to be successful. It is not something that you can rush if you want to expect good results. For Star Wars we will take our time, applying everything we know both aesthetically and technically to bring audiences a fantastic new Star Wars experience.”
I may have just wet myself…
